Robertson County Young Guns Trapshooting · Young Guns Place 3rd in Labor Day Competition

Members of the Robertson County 4H Young Guns put their shooting skills to the test during this weekends Pull For the Chamber fundraiser event.  White House Heritage students Shane Upchurch, Isaiah Short and Mason Belcher, along with teammate Jacob Spivey, placed 3rd in the competition. They were the youngest and only high school team to compete.
Over 25 teams competed in the 10 station Sporting Clay event. With a possible 400 targets broken, the boys were able to successfully break 314. Isaiah Short led the team, breaking 90 of the possible 100 targets thrown.
Normally focusing on Trap Shooting, this was the first Sporting Clay event that the boys have ever participated in as a team.
The Robertson County Young Guns were sponsored by Joe R Johnson II, Attorney at Law of Springfield.
